Start with the thing itself.

A film, a book, a room, a product, a piece of software, or a question that has become too large to carry alone. Tell me what exists, what you need it to become, and why now.

I read my own email. A first note can be short. The useful beginning is not a polished pitch; it is a clear account of the work and the next decision.

01 / Reasons to write

Choose the door that matches the next decision.

The work on this site crosses forms. These are not departments. They are useful ways to begin.

01

Make or repair a piece of work.

Film, editing, production, design, packaging, product story, or the operating sequence holding the whole thing together.

Describe the work

02

Ask about work already shown here.

A particular credit, reel, campaign, venture, product, or piece of the public record. Name it and I will answer directly.

Name the work

05

Follow a question.

Adaptation, filmed theater, authority, inheritance, continuity, critique, or another inquiry that intersects the writing and research.

Begin with the question

06

Bring something I did not name.

Tell me what you are making, changing, testing, learning, or trying to understand. The unexpected work is often the reason to keep a door open.

Use the open door

02 / The first note

A paragraph is enough.

You do not need to manufacture a brief before you write. Five facts usually reveal whether there is useful work to do.

  1. The thing

What are you making, adapting, revising, or trying to understand?

  2. Its state

What exists now: an idea, draft, cut, prototype, package, room, or working product?

  3. The decision

What has to become clear, change form, or stop going wrong?

  4. The people

Who owns it, uses it, approves it, performs it, makes it, or must be in the room?

  5. The time

What is the next real date, even if the full schedule is still unknown?

03 / Request-only work

Private does not mean mysterious.

Some material stays off the public site: complete screenplays, screeners, selected work packets, and working-product walkthroughs. Context matters more than a download button.

Name the material, say who you are, and explain why you want to see it. I consider access individually. It is not automatic, and a request does not need to pretend to be more formal than it is.

Request specific material

04 / Direct

Email reaches me.

There is no contact form, automatic scheduler, public telephone number, or access workflow between us. I read the note. If there is a useful next step, we can decide what it is.
